SANCRIS

It all started in the mid-1980s, when the Sapelli family saw an opportunity to start distributing sewing threads and yarns to small clothing manufacturers and seamstresses in the Brusque region of Santa Catarina. This entrepreneurial vision of the family founded the company we know today as SANCRIS.

1987

Starts Activities

The Sapelli family invited a friend, who already worked in sales, to start the business together. SANCRIS was set up in the back of the family's own house. During the day, they would go out to take orders and at night they would separate the goods together for delivery the next day.

1988

Growth in Sales

It was necessary to hire another person to help with sales, which were already reaching clothing manufacturers in Brusque, Gaspar and Blumenau.

1989

Expanded structure

With the growth in sales, it was necessary to move the company to a larger space. The premises now had products ready for delivery for distribution. In that same year, another representative was hired to meet the high demand.

1990

Structuring of sectors and first machinery

With a lot of effort and dedication from the family, the first customers with great potential were won, and with that, the demand for more products in stock. As a result, SANCRIS began to rent all the commercial spaces in the building where it was already located and hire new employees. At this time, the first machinery was also purchased to help quickly replenish stock.

1991

New plant and first factory store

Due to growing demand and hard work, SANCRIS needed to move to a larger facility. The first factory store was set up in the new building, which would serve customers directly at the counter.

1993

Expansion of the factory and start of its own production

The structure was increased with the construction of another warehouse to support larger stocks. The partnership with new suppliers contributed to the development of its own production.

1994

Own fleet and hiring of new employees

With the expanse, cars were purchased to distribute goods. New employees were also hired to help control stocks, orders and deliveries.

1996

ABIT recognition

Receives the renowned award from the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT).

1997

New Plant

SANCRIS moved to a new base with approximately 8,000 m². The year was also marked by the hiring of renowned employees in the market who expanded the product mix.

1998

Entrepreneurial vision

The family begins to plan the expansion of the company, renovating the bankrupt estate of an old dye house in Brusque, where SANCRIS Dyeing House would be installed in the future.

1999

Growth in the national market

Hiring of new representatives who opened up the market nationwide, serving regions such as Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, among others.

2000

Machinery modernization

The modernization of its manufacturing plant begins, replacing the current machinery with state-of-the-art machines.

2002

SANCRIS Dyeing House

After a major renovation and the purchase of modern machinery, SANCRIS Dyeing House begins its activities, developing its own colors with greater agility and quality.

2003

Own product exportation begins

With the expansion of the national market, it is time to explore new markets. It was then that SANCRIS begins to make its first exports to all of Latin America.

2004

SANCRIS Zippers Planning

The idea of expanding the product mix, implementing the production of zippers in Brazil, arises. From then on, the eldest daughter of the family sets to plan and study the feasibility of launching the product on the market with her final project in the Foreign Trade course.

2005

Environmental Award

Received the important award for Santa Catarina’s greatest and best - Environmentalist profile.

2006

Oeko-tex certification

Achieved the famous Oeko-tex Seal certification, guaranteeing that all of its products do not contain any substances that are harmful to health and the environment. Certification that is renewed and maintained to this day.

2007

Construction of the SANCRIS Zippers Manufacturing Plant

After the planning analyzed and proven in the final paper for the Foreign Trade course, construction of the warehouses for the production of zippers begins and trips are made abroad to acquire machinery and raw materials.

2008

SANCRIS Zippers

After assembling the machinery and with the know-how to implement the unit, new employees are hired and training is provided to begin operations.é feita a contratação de novos funcionários e a realização de treinamento para início das operações.

2010

New Lines and Yarn Unit

Major renovations are carried out in a new industrial park to install the Lines and Yarn factory.

2011

Store in São Paulo

Aiming to be closer to customers, a factory store is opened in Brás, São Paulo.

2012

SANCRIS Lines and Yarn

Starts operations in the new Thread and Yarn unit, where it is still located today.

2013

Dyeing House Expansion

Needing more space to store and dye its products, the SANCRIS Dyeing House unit is expanded.

2014

National Health and Safety Award

Receives the national award for best companies in Occupational Health and Safety in the Textile Industry sector.

2015

Sewing Technical Center

Creation of the Sewing Technical Center to check the quality and sewability of products.

2017

Store in Criciúma

A factory store is opened in Criciúma, Santa Catarina.

2018

Store in Maringá

A factory store is opened in Maringá, Paraná.

2019

Store in Goiânia

A factory store is opened in Goiânia, Goiás.

2021

Expansion of the Brusque Store and São Paulo Store

The São Paulo Store and Brusque Store are reopened and expanded, with modern facilities and an environment that further enhances and highlights the quality of SANCRIS products.

2022

Launch of the Linha de Nylon Bonderizado

SANCRIS launches the Linha de Nylon Bonderizado onto the market, a product that would innovate the leather and footwear market.

2023

Updates to color charts and investment in technology

Updates to color charts, solidifying itself as the largest color charts on the market. A large investment is also made in machinery, seeking to further increase the quality and agility in product manufacturing.

2024

Store in Indaial

A factory store is opened in Indaial, Santa Catarina.
